Get ready to embark on a railway adventure that's as zesty as a lemonade stand on a summer day! The Nelson Railway Society, once known as the Grand Tapawera Railroad Co. (because who doesn't love a grand name?), hatched this brilliant plan back in the rad '80s. Originally dreaming of laying tracks at Kohatu, they hit the brakes in 1991 and decided to relocate the rail magic to the Founders Heritage Park. It's a train-tastic journey with twists, turns, and a sprinkle of '90s nostalgia – all aboard the Founders express!
