A brand-new chapter is about to begin at Founders Park.
Celebrate the official opening of The Book Vault – a charming new second-hand bookshop nestled in the heart of the park. It’s a free, family-friendly event that invites readers of all ages to discover great stories, take part in creative activities, and enjoy a fun day out.
What to Expect:
- Free face painting for kids throughout the day
- Children’s storytime sessions held inside the historic Church
- Bookmark colouring activity – no scissors required, just creativity
- Book-themed scavenger hunt around the park
- Dress-up fun – come as your favourite book character
- Scoot & Ride – a nod to the nearby Pump Track
- Sausage sizzle available as a community fundraiser
The day begins with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30am. Activities kick off from 11:00am and will continue until around 3:00pm.
