Art School Holiday Program - Kowhai Art Studio
Unleash Your Child's Inner Artist This Winter at Kōwhai Art Studio!
Are you looking for a way to spark creativity in your child during the school holidays? Look no further! Kōwhai Art Studio at Founders Heritage Park is thrilled to announce our exclusive Art School Holiday Program, tailor-made for budding artists aged 7 to 11. Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Nelson, this program promises a week of imaginative play and artistic exploration.
What’s On Offer?
From Monday 8th July to Friday 12th July, your child can dive into the vibrant world of art from 9 am to 3 pm each day. The carefully crafted program includes a variety of hands-on activities designed to inspire and engage. Whether your child is a novice or a mini-Picasso, there’s something for everyone:
- Clay Sculpting: Get messy with our clay projects that promise as much fun creating them as admiring the finished products!
- Paper Mache Creations: There’s no limit to what your child can create, from mythical creatures to favourite cartoon characters.
- Printmaking: We’ll explore different printmaking techniques, allowing each child to produce unique artworks to bring home.
- Drawing & Painting: From still life to imaginative landscapes, watch as your child brings their visions to paper and canvas.
- Textiles & Collage: Combining textures, fabrics, and other eclectic materials, kids will create one-of-a-kind pieces.
With only 8 spots available, this small group setting ensures personalized attention for each young artist. Led by Jennie Bate, an experienced artist and passionate instructor, each session is designed to foster creativity, teach new skills, and most importantly, have loads of fun!
